Emory University

Emory University, a top-ranked private institution recognized internationally for its outstanding liberal arts colleges, graduate and professional schools, and one of the world’s leading health care systems, is located on a beautiful campus in Atlanta, Georgia’s historic Druid Hills neighborhood.
The Methodist Episcopal Church founded Emory College in 1836 in the small Georgia town of Oxford. The founders named the town for the school’s prestigious British cousin, and named the school for a bishop who dreamed of an American education that molded character as well as the mind.
